Find Your Future at the Bellingham Public Library
Our Kick-off Reception, held on Thursday, January 5th was a wonderful event with almost 60 people attending to find out about the services the library will be offering to job seekers this year. The event highlighted:
- Why the new year is a great time to refocus on your job search and examine your strategies.
- Programming the library will be offering to assist job seekers, including: computer training, resume and cover letter writing, online job searching, image presentation, mock interviews and social networking workshops; networking meetings, and a job fair.
- Event speaker was motivational speaker, personal and professional development consultant and Bellingham resident Phil Cicio, owner of Success thInc. Mr. Cicio spoke about how to develop the necessary mindset when job searching, so you can stand out from the crowd.
- This event was sponsored by the Friends of the Bellingham Public Library.
Grant program funded by a federal grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, with additional funding from Target and UniBank.
