Job Seekers Program!

The Bellingham Library is pleased to announce that UniBank, headquartered in Whitinsville, MA with a branch located at 10 Cheney Street, Blackstone, MA, has made a donation to the library in support of our Job Seekers in Libraries, “Find Your Future at the Bellingham Public Library” programming.

UniBank’s donation, added contributions from Target and the Friends of the Bellingham Public Library, will defray the costs of the program that are not covered by the $7,000 federal Institute of Museum and Library Services grant the library received to offer the programming.

The library will be offering extensive programming to job seekers, including:  hands on computer training; resume and cover letter writing workshops; online job searching workshops; networking meetings; and a job fair, scheduled for June.

Bernadette Rivard, Library Director stated, “We thank UniBank for their generous contribution which will enable the library to offer enhanced services under this grant.”
