Summer Reading Prizes

There are two ways to win prizes at the Bellingham Public Library this summer! Here’s how:

1. Do science experiments at home! The library will be giving out science experiment sheets throughout the summer. You complete the science experiment at home and bring back the experiment sheet to get a prize & raffle ticket. Then bring home a different experiment sheet for a chance at another prize/raffle ticket! There are six science experiments in total.

2. Keep track of reading hours with one of our reading logs. Bring in a completed sheet (10 hours read) for a prize & raffle ticket. Then bring home another sheet & keep reading for more prizes!

We have some great raffle prizes! Enter as many times as you can to win your favorite one!! Raffle winners will be drawn at our summer reading finale program, which begins at 6:30pm on Thursday, August 14. You do not need to be present to win.

NOTE: Our summer reading program runs from June 24-August 14.

NOTE: The Pawtucket Red Sox have again graciously offered every participant of the library’s summer reading program a free ticket to a Pawtucket Red Sox game! The game is on Monday, August 18. Before the game, all summer reading participants will be honored during an on-field ceremony! A child will be considered a summer reading participant the first time s/he completes a science experiment or a reading log.
