Polar Express Extravaganza Update

Due to the expected snowstorm forecasted for tomorrow (Saturday)  we are erring on the side of caution and cancelling the Saturday Polar Express Extravaganza, and rolling it into a longer event on Sunday.

Here is the new schedule:

2:30 to  6 pm –  Feel free to stop by anytime during the event hours.  We anticipate participating in all of these activities will take approximately 90 minutes.

Every 30 minutes, starting at 2:45 pm,  there will be a reading of the Polar Express story in the Community Room.

Throughout the afternoon there will be crafts, games and the opportunity to take photos with Santa in different areas of the library.

As we have condensed two events into one, we want to let you know that parking may be difficult.  We are in contact with the DPW to do our best to ensure the library lot and access road are available for the event, but weather is unpredictable.  There is NO PARKING ON BLACKSTONE STREET.  If the library lots are full and the Bellingham Memorial School lot is cleared, we encourage you to park there and walk to the library.

If you were registered for Saturday night and plan on coming on Sunday, we would appreciate it if you would register for Sunday at this link. http://bit.ly/2iEN56j

We appreciate your cooperation with this new schedule and plan and look forward to welcoming your families to the library.
