Bellingham Library Book Club

The library’s book discussion group meets the first Monday of every month at 6:30 pm. Due to the Labor Day holiday however, in September the group will meet on the second Monday of the month.

September Meeting: The Liars’ Club by Mary Karr will be discussed.

Meeting Date: Monday, September 9, 2013 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.

The author, a poet, recounts her difficult childhood growing up in a Texas oil town. The Liars’ Club won the PEN/Martha Albrand Award in 1996, which is given for a distinguished first book of general non-fiction by an American writer.
