Summer Reading Prizes

                                                             Runs from June 22-August 19

Reading = Prizes! Here’s how:

  • Keep track of your reading this summer on a reading log, which you can pick up at the library. Once you have read for 500 minutes (8 hours and 20 minutes), exchange your reading log at the library to receive a free book as well as get a raffle ticket for one of our great raffle prizes. Then get a new reading log and KEEP READING! Enter as many times as you can. Raffle winners will be drawn at our Summer Reading Closing Ceremony, which begins at 6:30pm on Friday, August 20. You do not need to be present to win.
  • The Pawtucket Red Sox have again graciously offered every participant of the library’s summer reading program a free ticket to a Pawtucket Red Sox game! The game is on Monday, August 22. Before the game, all summer reading participants will be honored during an on-field ceremony! A child will be considered a summer reading participant the first time s/he completes a reading log. Get your free voucher at the library.
