The Library’s Community Room may be reserved for meetings and programs.
The community room is a state-of-the-art facility with video and audio presentation technologies and seating for 100. Internet access is available. We will also lend you our laptop and projector for presentations on the screen. There is a full-service kitchen for your events. The room is free for community, town and 501c3 nonprofit groups, but there are fees for other nonprofits and for profit organizations. There are also fees for using the room outside of library hours. For more information on the room and its use policy, please call the library at (508)966-1660 or inquire at the Circulation desk.
- Please check the Library Calendar for the room availability. To see the schedule, choose Community Room from the drop-down menu of events. You will then see if the room is available or currently booked for the date(s) you need.
- You then must call the library and request use of the room for that date. A librarian will book the room for you and instruct you to complete a Community Room Reservation Form to finalize the reservation. You can fax, mail or hand deliver the request form. Your request is not valid until you have spoken to a librarian (508-966-1660) and the library has approved your request and the request and release form is completed.
- You are responsible for understanding the Community Room Use Rules. Please download a copy for your files. Reservations are allowed for the room only eight weeks in advance from the date of the request.
- The Bellingham Public Library does not allow or permit the use of latex gloves or latex balloons.
